There are few limitations of where it can be used so please feel free to contact us with your design ideas.

Poured Floors - Polished Concrete - Liquid Vinyl Comfort Floors

These floors have really taken off in the 21st century because they are so versatile with all the benefits of being seamless. The choice of colours, finishes and effects is huge and in most cases can be laid over wooden floors. They are also perfect for underfloor heating projects.

Seamless Resin Flooring

Traditionally used for Industrial and Food manufacturing facilities, Modern technology, together with the overall benefits resins can offer has now allowed a wide range of resin based products to be ideally  suited to Commercial, Retail and the Domestic projects.

The Introduction of Flexible Polyurethanes and Polished Concrete effect floors are leading the way and several decorative options are also available.  Poured resins and Liquid Vinyl comfort flooring can be adapted to be used almost anywhere so Design with resins is also now a consideration rather than what used to be just performance.

Cost is generally comparable with good quality Ceramics or Vinyl although very small areas less than 10m2 can work out uneconomical with certain systems. We are always happy to listen to your requirements and offer a sensible price for design, supply and installation.

Resin floors don't work for everybody in the home environment and sometimes good old fashioned Tiles or Vinyl can be a more practical solution. If we don't think they are the best option for you we will let you know and explain why and hopefully offer something that does fit with your needs or budget. If you have a Retail or Commercial project then there are rarely any issues with having a Resin type floor.

Ceramic Tiling

Laying Tiles has been an Art in itself for many hundreds of years and the modern world is no different. The Romans had underfloor heating long before electricity had even been thought of. The types and size of tiles now available is huge and with that brings a much wider range of adhesives and grouts to consider  to cope with different sub strates and  composition of the tile itself. Laying tiles onto wood for example often lead to cracks in the tiles or the grout being dislodged.

Tiling onto wood can now be done with confidence using the right specification for the Timber floor itself in conjunction with Fibre re in-forced levelling screeds and the correct grade flexible adhesive and grout.

Large format tiles 600mm x600mm and even larger are becoming increasingly popular and more affordable because of advances in manufacture but this has lead to the need for perfectly flat floors for them to be laid on or at least within certain parameters set by the British standards institute for Surface regularity.

Part of our growing customer base is tiling contractors and developers who need our expertise in floor preparation and levelling and often combine that with our ability to install under floor heating mats and insulation boards for efficiency.

Altogether we can offer a complete package if required or just certain elements of the floor make up for all types of projects.

Floor Repairs and Levelling

Particularly with refurbishment or extension projects the sub floor may need to be raised slightly so the new floor finish is at one level or where old tiles have been removed and the floor is simply to uneven or rough to receive the new topping. Small differences in levels is often over looked or is not apparent until a wall is knocked down for example.

Traditional sand and cement screeds cannot always provide the solution as they shouldn't be laid at less than 50-60mm thick. We can provide fast drying and early high strength screeds and levelling compounds which can be laid from 3mm to 40mm onto screed or timber. Surface applied liquid Damp proof membranes are also a solution we can offer if the traditional method of laying a plastic membrane isn't feasible.

Underfloor Heating

With the advances in technology of high performance, thin section Insulation boards and digital technology electric underfloor heating can be a great way to create a cosy underfoot environment or even as the main source of heating in any given room.

It can also be a real winner on refurbishment projects such as extensions or conservatories where all is required is a electrical outlet to power the heating mats.

We can install all this for you with touch screen controls or remote control and all certified by a qualified electrician.
